Nurturing Growth at Every Stage
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to meet children where they are, fostering curiosity and confidence through an innovative and contextual curriculum that celebrates play, nature, and community.
Parent & Me
Ages 3–24 months
classes are held daily
A gentle introduction to our preschool community for children and their caregivers. This program is rooted in sensory exploration and building strong attachment bonds through shared discovery in a safe, child-centered environment. Families participate in weekly sessions that include music, movement, and open-ended play, fostering a supportive community where both children and parents can grow together.
Blue Room
Ages 2–3 years
9am-12:45pm
Encouraging early independence and social growth, the Blue Room provides a nurturing environment where children begin their journey of creative expression. Here, the focus is on self-help skills, emotional regulation, and the transition into a classroom routine. Our educators emphasize wonder and invitations to play, building the foundational confidence needed for collaborative learning in later years and developing a love of coming to school.
Green Room
Ages 3–4 years
9am-12:45pm
Children engage in deeper collaborative play and project-based learning, using their natural curiosity to investigate the world and express complex ideas. The Green Room curriculum is responsive to the interests of the group, allowing for long-term inquiries and developing the social-emotional competence that is central to our preschool philosophy.
Yellow Room
Ages 4–5 | Developmental TK
9am-2:30pm
What Sets Our TK Program Apart?
We see our Yellow Room Developmental TK Program as a gift that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and readiness for Kindergarten and beyond. While Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in public schools is an option, the MPS experience provides something far more enriching, a year designed with the whole child in mind.
A Year of Growth in a Nurturing Community
At MPS, we recognize that children thrive in environments where they feel known, valued, and supported. Our low student-to-teacher ratio ensures each child receives personalized attention, fostering deep connections and meaningful learning experiences. We are truly able to meet the individual needs of each child and provide just the right level of challenge. In this extra year at MPS, children strengthen their social-emotional skills, independence, and confidence, critical building blocks for a successful transition to Kindergarten.
More Than Just Preparation – A Foundation for Life!
Whilst foundational reading, writing and math do form a core part of the program, MPS’s TK goes beyond academic readiness, it nurtures 21st-century skills that empower children to be creative thinkers, collaborators, and problem-solvers. Through inquiry-led, hands-on learning, children develop the ability to ask questions, explore ideas, and engage deeply with topics that interest them. These experiences foster a lifelong love of learning, ensuring that children don’t just memorize facts, but develop the curiosity and resilience to navigate the world with confidence.
